研究方向张焕水教授长期从事随机系统最优滤波,时滞系统鲁棒H无穷控制与估计,无线通讯系统功率控制与信道估计,基于无线感测器网路的信号处理与跟蹤定位 。对传统滤波理论的改进和完善、时滞系统的控制具有实质性的贡献,特别是建立了输入时滞系统LQ控制与输出时滞系统最优平滑估计的对偶关係,揭示了与时滞系统有关的系列基础性难题的内在联繫,为根本解决多通道输入时滞系统LQ控制、H无穷控制等问题铺平了道路 。同时套用离散随机系统最优控制极大值原理,解决多通道输入时滞随机系统最优控制问题 。研究方向为时滞系统及随机系统控制理论,网路控制,无线感测器网路信号处理与跟蹤定位理论与套用研究 。随机系统最优滤波与控制、时滞系统控制与估计、网路控制、无线感测器网路跟蹤定位等 。主要贡献主要学术贡献包括:1) 解决多通道输入/输出时滞系统的最优控制与估计问题,得到最优控制器和滤波器的完全解析解;2)解决随机控制一重要基础问题,即控制/状态信号存有延迟的随机最优控制和均方镇定问题,基于一新的耦合方程刻画了随机最优控制和反馈镇定控制有解的充要条件以及控制器解析解,将Smith-预报控制理论拓广到随机系统 。上述研究在国内外重要期刊和学术会议发表论文100余篇 。先后3次获得国际重要会议最佳论文奖(与他人合作);3次获得省部级和国家科学奖励(与他人合作) 。专着H.
